I’m a survivor - a kidney disease survivor, a cancer survivor. I am also a Christian and a pastor, retired-but-not-retired. I happily acknowledge the Reformed confessions as my North Star, and find in their affirmations a source of hope and joy.

This is where I write, and you’re welcome to look over my shoulder. I write about God and any number of things in relation to God - particularly suffering and pain, which have been my companions over the course of my life. I hope to offer the reader a faithful statement of the Christian faith - words which are the fruit of decades of reading, reflection, and personal reformation.

I do not engage with paid subscriptions. Freely have I been given, freely do I give.
